See, here's a perfect example of how you don't get it. We got a guy who, although is most likely a decent fellow (this would be the benefit of the doubt everyone gets, including you I would imagine), posts comments without being around long enough to figure out the board works, establish cred, etc. Yet this is who you hold up as the voice of reason. You should add his name to the list of those to whom you owe an apology for cynically using him to establish your (non)position.

Oh wow. A fucking martyr. I guess we are gonna need those torches.

Now we're seeing your true colors - sarcasm is always a great way to win friends!

Soli says it quite well that people should be given the benefit but I guess some others never make mistakes and they are quite ready to judge others with the torches and pitchforks.
Soli only posted because he hasn't been around long enough to recognize a fucked up POS troll when he sees one. But keep up the tutorial asshole.
Equality is not seeing different things equally. It's seeing different things differently.

Basil, what can I say that you already haven't said? It's only ok for you to be 'sarcastic' and you are always going to be judge juror and executioner and you always have the final say in everything. Let's just say for the sake of argument that there is nothing that I can say or do that would make a difference as you have already said. I can live with that but something tells me that you can't because you have this need to continue to attack regardless. I could even be 100% sincere in a personal apology to you ( for what I don't know because you were never even a part of this from the get go ) but just for the sake of burying this and getting on with real life I'm not sensing that you are on the same wave length.

How's this for friendly sarcasm? Enjoy your day and try not to take things so seriously. It's not like we are neighbors and I have to see you have a meltdown everyday. I have to apologize for not being able to see your reply as I know it will be full of line by line detailed psychological rantings but your future railings will be blocked/ignored and I hope that some other newbie doesn't step on your toes for something they probably had no idea and you go off onto another shark attack. Get well, soon, Basil

I've been on the board for a couple of years now. Ted is usually right.

Reading through this thread reminded me of a little fable..

    The Scorpion and the Frog
One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.

The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn't see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back.

Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream.

"Hellooo Mr. Frog!" called the scorpion across the water, "Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?"

"Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?" asked the frog hesitantly.

"Because," the scorpion replied, "If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!"

Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. "What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!"

"This is true," agreed the scorpion, "But then I wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the river!"

"Alright then...how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?" said the frog.

"Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!"

So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.

Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.

"You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?"

The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back.

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.

Self destruction - "Its my Nature", said the Scorpion...
Sorry, my friend, but whether you show your self destructive nature here or somewhere else, you have still shown what you are made of.
