    Default Ramone Allones Reserve Maduro

    Hermoso #2 5 x 50

    CT broadleaf maduro wrapper
    CTbroadleaf binder
    Hon/Nic/DR filler blend

Smoked this yesterday while gambling it up a little at the casino. Very well constructed and uniformly firm with no soft/hard spots along the entire length. Looking at the foot, the bunch looks very good and even. The wrapper is very veiny and toothy lending a somewhat rough overall appearance to the stick.

Cut was uneventful, and the pre-light draw was just about perfect with some slight resistance. Taste was very dark tobacco with a hint of cedar and some chocolate. Fired it up and it took to the bic readily. Burn was even throughout the smoke and no touch ups were required.

The flavors were typical for a strong maduro; chocolatey, woody, sweet, with ample clouds of smoke and a pleasing aroma in the air. Full flavor with a med-full body, edging towards full in the last half.

This was not a overly complex or entrancing smoke, but certainly enjoyable and one that I will continue to keep around.

Good review. Rate that puppy. I'll try anything over a 7.

Well, I reduce shit to numbers all day........I'd comfortably give this an 7.72513 on a 10 point scale.

Well I heard that someone gave it a 7.72514. Now that right there really means something in a world of meaningless shit.

I have to agree with you 100%. Rating is just another measure of confusion. That's why I use a 1-10 scale to try and keep it simple. Actually, it could be reduced to a scale of 1-3. Anything more is just an opinion based on personal taste and we all know that some people have real bad taste. A cigar is either bad, OK, or good. I smoked a Davidoff that was OK. For you it might have been good. Now, we already have an average of 7.5.
