Yep, excellent resource.....pretty much the definitive source for Opus MSRP's and a wealth of other information.

That's cool. I'll be the first to admit that I don't really spend too much time browsing. In my business the computer is strictly a tool and by the end of the day I'm tired of working and staring at this POS. The little time I devote to CigarSmokers is about it. I'd rather be puffin.

I thank you for the site DW. Haven't seen that one before.

Do you guys think it would be a waste for me to purchase a rare smoke being new to the cigar world. My local tobacconist told me that he has some rare smokes that he doesn't leave out in the open. He then showed me some Padron Anniversary and some Opus X and he mentioned a few more. Should I wait until I'm more attuned to the subtleties of cigars before buying some of these??

IMHO, if you have an opportunity to pick up some Padron annys....and you can afford them.....buy them. My fav is the PAM Exclusivo. I found these pretty early on in my smoking and had no trouble telling they were fantastic.

As far as Opus X goes.......can't hurt to try one or two. Until you get more familiar with them, and understand that they are subject to gouging and profiteers, I would suggest only buying/trading for them with people you trust on the boards. You will get them very close to MSRP that way so it won't hurt as bad if you think they suck.

    For all the above, YMMV.

I picked up a Padrom anniversary '64 today. I think it's an imperial, but I'm not really sure because of the box press. It's 6 inches long and the ring gauge seems to be around 52. Thanks for the push ashauler.

Enjoy it bro....make sure you have plenty of time and can relax while smoking it. Oh, and don't blame me, you got on the slope all by yourself.
