any bowlers out there.

I just started bowling in a league with my 2 brother in-laws and a one of their friends. Now i haven't bowled in about 10 years and I'm still using my very old ball. Its a 12 pound wrecking ball, it's way to light. I'm hitting the pocket pretty well but not getting enough pin action. Any bowlers amongst you that can suggest a decent ball. I'm looking for a 15 or 16 pounder. I throw with a normal hook naturally. I stand one marker to the left of center and throw the ball out a bit, between the 1st and 2nd arrow to the right of center. looking to spend around $100-$140.

I use a 15lb. Brunswick Sidewinder. I'm still a noob when it comes to bowling but this bowling ball was highly recommended by the shop owner where I bought it. He has a daughter who partakes in major league bowling competitions so I'd like to think he knows his stuff, but who knows.
