Thread: Breaking in a new patio

Default Breaking in a new patio

Last night I have my first cigar in about a month. I had been sick for two weeks in august (stomach virus, then a terrible cold) followed by buying and moving into my wife and I's first house. I spent the last two week tear up carpet, painting, unpacking, etc.

Last night I finally found time to sneak away from helping out with the house and have a cigar. Not only was it my first cigar in a long time, but my first cigar in my backyard. Man is it nice to relax on a patio outside and smoke. I was used to sitting on a small stoop outside my apartment to have a cigar.

I had a Matasa 30th Anniversay that I got from a BOTL on the board, and had been saving. It was an excellent cigar, great flavor and construction. A cigar that I will remember for a long time, as I finally got to celebrate my new house.

Anyway, just wanted to share one of the best cigar experiences I've had yet.

Congrats brother!! A fitting circumstance for a cigar indeed, and not a bad smoke you picked. Here's to many more.

Congrats on the patio, Derivation! Couldn't think of a better way to break in the new house.

Not to hijack the thread but how'd you fair through the hurricane, Cajunblaze? Looks like another one's gonna hit pretty close by. Hope it works out.
