Hoyo de Monterey Dark Sumatra Espresso

An appropriately named size, in it's taste as well as burn time. What I would call a cup o' coffee cigar, burns for about 30-40 minutes. Very dark wrapper, the aroma of an unlit cigar is quite enjoyable. A bit strong on the start, quite peppery and heavy. But after about the first 3/4 inch it mellows nicely with hints of coffee and leather. I bought a box of these and construction and wrapper color is very uniform. About $100 for a box of 40, the larger sizes come in boxes of 25 and cost a bit less.

I would rate the Dark Sumatra line at 90, the espresso an 89.
