Don & Mel are still touring as just Grand Funk...saw them in Sept 07 and then Mark in Apr 08...both playing at a bike rally
Ya know I've seen so many of the old groups playing at bike rallies...Foghat, Molly Hatchet, Grand Funk, Mark, Blue Oyster Cult, Styx just to name a few

A little Widespread Panic while at the office today...
I've got Live in the Classic City - Disc II in my truck for the past week or so. I haven't heard any of their new stuff - not since probably 2001's Don't Tell the Band. I saw them at the Greek Theater in Berkeley years ago, and it was probably the best concert I've ever been to.
I am curious if anyone like jazz trios. I would love to ask reccomendations. Trying to find stuff with piano, but no horns.
Jazz with no horns, huh? It probably exists, I just don't listen to much of it. Bill Evans comes to mind, but I can't recall if he usually plays with horns or not. If you don't mind a singer, I like Julie London a lot. For something a bit more contemporary, check out the Holly Cole Trio.

You might try some Chick Corea Trio. I saw them last weekend and they were great. Just piano, bass, and drums. Also, the Matt Savage Trio, specifically their album Quantum Leap. Matt Savage is on piano, I believe he was 14 or 15 years old when they recorded it. Good stuff.
Phish 99 concert tour - various dates
I'm a live music fiend and was hard core collector for a while. I have a few thousand hours at this point and just grab a different folder of disks every few weeks.
