While listening to "Rock" radio on Spotify "Meg Meyers - Lemon Eyes" played. Interesting. I may have to check her out. I like the sound and as far as the "sea of shit" in the music world today it was pretty damn good.

The Pretty Reckless, Take Me Down.
I really like the sound of some of the newer Rocker Chick groups. Halestorm sounds good too. Their music has a classic rock sound to it. Takes me back to the sound of the late 80's and 90's without having to relive old bands. Women led bands have long been under-represented in this music genre. These groups prove not only that it can be done, but done well.
Hard to believe that the little girl who tried to get the Grinch to love Christmas leads this band though. Kind of like when I realized Rusty Griswold from Lampoons Christmas Vacation was the guy in Big Bang Theory, which isn't exactly a new show. Makes me feel, old..........

The Descendents "Shameless Halo" from their newest CD "Hypercaffium Spazzinate with Bonus Elements:
I saw these guys in concert in Worcester, MA on October 27th. One of my best buddies knows these guys personally so we got the royal treatment, backstage passes, etc.
The Descendents are an incredible punk band originally out of Redondo Beach, CA. Still rockin' since 1977.
