Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis, with a dash of the very hot Norah Jones--from the HDNet concert series.

Last night I listened to some Bessie Smith on vinyl while enjoying a smoke in the backyard. Bessie has such a haunting voice, I love it.

Faith No More ~ The Real Thing

Every time I turn this on, I feel like I could listen to it forever over & over.

edit: Mark, since you're the original poster, I'd also like to add that the track "Zombie Eaters" is especially poignant for your situation coming up. (Logan37 too)

I feel the same way. Great album. I rocked that thing the entire summer of '89- good through and through

I ALMOST got to see them live once - during the Faith No More/Metallica/Guns N Roses tour in like 92 or something like that. We got a late start leaving for Dallas, and had to park so far away, we only heard bits of the last set they did on the way to the stadium. But what a great album - for a time.

Yup, killer album; I saw them open for Metallica in '89. Patton stage dove and his foot pole-axed my friend right between the eyes. Knocked one of the lenses of his glasses out.
The best part was we stuck around after the show looking for his lens and found 4 (!) of them on the floor...none were his.

There are not many bands that have 15+ minute songs that aren't repetitive or annoying. Good stuff indeed!
