Wow I just heard this on the radio didn't know who it was until I looked it up. Quite a lineup. Been listening to Sammy Hagar for years, saw him at the Texas Jams in the 70s and have never really been a huge fan (Right Now with Van Halen being one exception.) He's damn good in this vid though.

Also, these guys are cookin'. Their version of Dazed and Confused is stupid good.

Chickenfoot! Been listening to the album for about a week now..

    Love the name

Good solid music, nothing fancy from Michael Anthony, and Satch has a completely different role than he's used to, but I like it.

    Default weird al

Been a weird al fan for a long time. Got to listen to his new song from his not yet released album called "internet leaks" The song that I listened to (music video actually) was titled "On Craigslist"! It is a parody song done in the style of the doors. You can look it at the link below, its a hoot!

The best thing about Chickenfoot is that they have Chad Smith on the drum kit. The guy is amazing!

    Today for me:

    Social Distortion: Mommy's Little Monster
Booker T and the MGs: Time is Tight (I cannot wait until he rolls through SLC in September with the Drive-by Truckers- appropriately named as "Booker T and the DBTs"

Right on- Saxon. I rocked the Denim and Leather LP for the first time in a long time a couple of weeks ago.

I just received an autographed copy of the new Patterson Hood solo effort: Murdering Oscar and other Love Songs. That will be the order of the day....

    Rollins Spoken Word stuff
KWKH Online - Home of the legends
Metallica - Garage Days ReVisisted : I thought this album was lost. I just dug in this past weekend looking for it, and it paid off - an absolute classic album, and just about all the Metallica I can stand anymore.

Nice, Will! The Samhain stuff and all four of his first solo releases have a special place in my head, but the self titled first release "Danzig" cannot be bested...
