Thread: RO/DI filter or distilled water

Default RO/DI filter or distilled water

I have a RO/DI (Reverse osmosis deionization) water filter that we use for our saltwater fish tank. Would that work in place of distilled water for use with a humidor?

It's no big deal to go and get some distilled, but if I don't have to, it's all the better.

I have heard this question come up before so I did a little search. Viper139 who sells the r/h beads says it's ok. I think he would know. Follow the link for a good discussion on beads.

Thanks for the link. That's just what I needed.
