Default Finally got to smoke a cigar after 3-4 months!!

Went to the local B&M this past weekend and got some Opus X and a NUB to try out.

Heard so much about NUB, that I figured it'd be the best time to try it. WHAT A WRONG MOVE!

I dunno if it was because I just recovered from a bad cold, or the long hiatas from cigars, but that sucker was STRONG! I acted like I was freakin drunk after smoking that thing. I was dizzy, words were slurred, and I puked afterwards.

I have to go back to some mild-medium smokes, cuz I do not want to experience that again. Flavor was good, but just the strenght was overpowering.

Gonna go back to the B&M and smoke something lighter.

    Congrats on your come back

Too bad that NUB was a little too strong for you. They're one of my fav's. Which one did you have, habano, connecticut or cameroon? I'd have to say I like the habano the most.

Good to have you back brother!

What nub curled you up? I like the Habano, but I can't stand the Conn.

That's kinda funny to me because the Nubs I've tried were mild to med. I know that feeling though. Had an operation once and didn't smoke for a couple of months. Went out one night for a couple of beers and a cigar, and ended up miserable when I got home. Maybe felt a little green, but had one healluva a headache and couldn't even sleep. Welcome back.

I'd have to say I've never thrown up from a cigar. I did though get really light headed. The first cigar I ever had I inhaled the whole thing like a champ. I felt really light headed but didn't pray to the porcelain god.

I know the feeling! I haven't been smoking too many cigars recently due to school and work (1 more semester of school left for me !!!!, then i get to cram like hell for the bar). The damn smoking ban doesn't help either. Oh well I think I might pick up the pace over my break, I'm planning on buying an outdoor heater.
If I can't smoke because smoking will kill me then life isn't worth living.
