    WOW!

I've never been to the shop but I've been buying from these guys for years. They have great prices on Padron 1926s (boxes) and sometimes have the nice Fuente stuff that they'll sell over the phone.

They're strictly business on the phone, no idle chit-chat but they've never been rude or short with me.

So I guess that place is out of the question for a meet up on Saturday the 3rd?

There is a cigar shop here that I will not go to because the customer service absolutly sucks. They follow you around like your are about to steal something. The funny thing is the store I go to is owned by the same family. The brother runs one store and the sister runs the other. I've told them the reason why I will not go to that store. They agree with me and nothing has changed at the other store.

Wow, that's pretty shocking as Peretti is supposed to be one of the best tobacconists in the world - mostly from the pipe side, though.

The counter guy may just not like Canadians - although I've only experienced that attitude well south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Boston's full of Redsox fans. What did you expect?

Kidding aside, Boston's a great city. But every city has it's bad apples. Especially NY, I hope you have better luck here. Like I said, I don't know about the city shops but my local B&M has a great crowd and nice owners. I would suspect that the city B&M's might be a bit snobby, but that's Manhattan for you.

I've ordered from them a few times too and have had the same experience as Bill. They were professional and accommodating on the phone. Prices are competitive and service was good. Too bad your visit there sucked so bad Roham.
