My advice to you is to try, try again.
When I first started smoking cigars, I would get dizzy and lightheaded (and occasionally nauseaus) almost without fail. Didn't matter if I was inside, outside, drinking alcohol, full or empty stomach, maduro or natural...whatever. If you have a roll of burning leaves in your mouth, it is almost inevitable that you are going to inhale some smoke, even if you're not specifically INHALING the smoke.
If you enjoy smoking cigars (but not the afteraffects) try it a few more times and see if it continues to kick your ass. Your body should adjust to the small amounts of nicotine you are inadvertantly taking in and it should become less of a problem for you. If it continues to make you sick, look into a new hobby (and send me your leftover sticks!)

Echoing Hefty's advice,
Make sure you are sitting down. Don't rush the cigar, take your time. If you don't have the time, do something other than smoke. That Siglo was a pretty small cigar, but that would be my next suggestion, smoke a smaller cigar. If you're smoking a Trinidad Churchill, that would be a different story. It's not for everyone, but don't get discouraged.
When I first started out this happened to me, and someone suggested I have a little sugar if the queezy feelings ever come on. It certainly helped - didn't eliminate the queeziness, but it did make it go away faster.

Good advice so far. You may want to give the Cohibas to your husband though.![]()
