Fantasy NASCAR 2009

Bassfever is layed up at the moment so I will get this started. I'm still smokin' through the smokes I won last year so it's the least I can do.

Rules:

Buy-in is a minimum of two $5 cigars. This will be split up into two segments, with a separate buy in for each segment. There is no requirement to play both segments and you can join the second segment if you miss out on the first one.

If you are new here and have no trading history or can not be vouched for by an established member, you will need to send your cigars to me and I will send them out with my cigars at the end of the first segment.

If you want to play let me know and I will pm you the league name and password. Deadline to have your roster picked is Feb. 15th.

Overview

The game is divided into two 18-week segments. Select four drivers on the circuit that you think will perform the best in each week's race. Choose wisely as you can only select each driver a maximum of four times during a game segment.

Points are earned based on the qualifying and finishing position of each of the four drivers that you select plus any points earned based on improvement from start to finish position for each driver.

Anyhow, that's the limit of my NASCAR knowledge, other than watching the Nationwide cars run in the rain in Montreal (on TV) was a pitiful joke, Juan Pablo Montoya needs something lit under his ass, the same can probably be said for Villeneuve (if he has a ride), and Chip Ganassi makes Rocky Patel look like a bad rookie salesman. Geez, I don't even know if Chipper (or Penske) is running in NASCAR this year

I'm registered and signed up in the league.

My team name is RoadDog Rockets. I have a old roomate that was a photography major and works the Nascar circuit. Gonna have to hit him up for some insider info. Anyone planning on going to a race? Could be a fun Herf field trip.
