Thread: Wine fridge for humidor

  1. Default Wine fridge for humidor and some liquor

I have a wine fridge that I am trying to sell, it would make a good humidor ( I am told this is a common thing to do).

My uncle just gave me a wine cooler because he got a newer, better one. He was going to toss it, I told him to sell it, he told me to take it and sell it. (I don't want you guys to think I got a gift from my uncle and then turned around and sold it on the sly) Any way, it's a Jenn Air with 5 full racks and 2 lower half racks. I will post some pictures tomorrow that will show the interior layout. I think it holds about 40 bottles. It is black on the outside and white on the inside and the exterior is in pretty good shape because it was built-in under a counter, but has some slight marks and a pretty big scrape on it. The white dusting that appears in the pictures is mostly flash, but there is some specks on it. If I were going to use this in my house I would build it in beneath the counter, but covering it in some black pleather (or real leather, what the hell) would be very simple. The key for the lock was lost, so it can't be locked, but a locksmith could take care of it easily. The black switch visible at the top is for an interior light, and it works. Each rack holds 6 bottles.

This is a high quality JennAir, not one of the cheap ebay/craigslist POS'.

    Outer Dimensions:
    23" tall
    21 3/4" wide
    just under 23" deep

    Here are some pics:

I'd like to get 150 for it, but I will certainly entertain offers. I am located in Santa Cruz County, California, and sometimes go over the hill to San Jose.

I've seen you guys roast the hell out of first time posters in the for sale section, but I thought that was maybe just for people who would be mailing cigars, since they were not known to be reliable yet. I am hoping that since this would be a face to face thing you guys will take it easy on me. If not, here is some ammunition for you:

INCLUDED IN THIS PURCHASE WILL BE 12 HUGE THOMPSON CIGAR CO BAGATELLES!!!!

It works well, it gets cold quick and is quiet running. It probably weighs around 60-70pounds I would guess. Probably not worth shipping to NS but I'll let you be the judge of that.

I know you are just interested in the Thompsons anyway. :(

Well I'll be damned! There's a lady bug flying around in my office! Not something you see every day in the dead-assed middle of winter here in Nova Scotia.

Hey George, you think Big Dick's wine cooler will go well with the new stove?

That is my friend's wife, Jackie. If you've gone to strip clubs in Tucson you may have seen her;) Yep, that is really me (I have shaved since then unfortunately, applying for jobs is hard to do looking like that). Sorry don't have any scotch.

Hmmmm.... I don't think it will go with the new stove. I think you're going to need one of those built in models.

I'm willing to bid $25 for it!

25 bucks is better than what I'll get if my Dad drives his truck over because I left it in his garage too long. I'll put it up on CraigsList I guess, but it's gotta go. Special cigarsmokers lower price now of 120!!!

    Plus the Thompsons!
