Just finished my first one of these and wanted to pass on my thoughts:
Size: 6", 50 ring size
Wrapper: Mexican San Andres Cubano
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian
First Third: A little difficult to light, but got it going. It was pretty harsh immediately after lighting, but mellowed a bit after about 5 minutes. Definitely a full bodied cigar. Seemed to be more body than spice through the first third. But started to show some leather and cracked pepper toward the end of the first third.
Second Third: Leather and pepper now fully developed. Still full bodied. The ash as tight and light gray with black striations. Draw was even and good. Smooth burn.
Last third: Leather and pepper faded a bit, but good draw.
Overall, a very good cigar. Very full bodied with some decent spice. It was bit more than I expected in body. It was, however, my first Montecristo.
Hope this helps..
