Default High Priced High end Humidors Vs Hand Made

Is there a market out there for Hand made quality Humidors that are solid wood construction with the finest details? I just see so many imports and so many brands that dont seem to offer much on the high end for the cost. I started my own line, and i think it is fabulous, please assist me with your ideas or thoughts on this.

    Mine is the following: Summary:

    21" wide X 15" deep X 8" tall.
Hand-Made with 100% solid wood (no veneer or MDF).
Consists of Figured Cherrywood, premium Spanish Cedar and Wenge trim and dovetails.
Electronic, microprocessor controlled humidifier with AC and batter control.
10" X 8" engraved U.S Seal on the top lid.
Left-side cigar box storage capable of 200 cigars and right-side double traus for up to 100 individual cigars.
10-year Warranty and signed Letter of Authenticity.

There is indeed a market. One of our members makes art that doubles as humidors.

Thank you for taking your time. Yes quite unique and amazing. I was thinking that if a person really wanted to they could just put thier pride in a tupaware bowl with a sponge. However since we are humans with emotions doesnt it make sense to put them in something that is pleasing to our senses as well as functional?

    thanks again for your thoughts

    My Humidor

That's a link to mine with a thread showing everyone's humi / stash.

I agree with your comment about a tupperware & sponge vs. beautiful humi like yours. Some people combine hobbies I guess is what it boils down to. Mabye some people like an expensive humi to show off their stash, and others want to spend their time & money on just the cigars.

    To each their own!

That is certainly some exceptional work. However, you need to shitcan the Thompson's cigars in your display. Do you enjoy fine cigars?

Also, would you quote a price range for such a piece? Brothers here range from professionals to salt of the earth kind of folks. Where we fit is not often obvious. I would not spend on a desktop like that, but I know of a few who would.

Yep, just because someone doesn't choose to spend big $$$ on a humi, doesn't mean that they couldn't.
