Since some of you havn't had the maduro i thought i would quote the inscription on the inside of the lid.

"Maduro Broadleaf"
"These cigars have been made using only the finest genuine African Cameroon wrapper. The filler and binder are all Nicaraguan. Habano fillers grown on Oliva Cigar Family farms. All our cigars are handmade under the strict guidelines set forth by our founder in the traditional Cuban way."

So I am assuming that the wrapper on this cigar is an aged Cameroon broadleaf. I must say that the quality of the wrapper is one of the highest i have seen on a maduro. Hope you get the chance to try one.

I'm with Johnny and Denver. I've enjoyed the natural thoroughly but haven't tried the maduro. Guess I'll have to fix that soon! Haven't heard much about the S series. I'll give those a shot to.

I smoked the Series G box pressed churchill, Cameroon wrapper.

I love the Series G, one of my favorite. Definitely a great smoke, gets better in the last third. Very even burn, lots of smoke, and I've only had one that was wrapped too tight out of the 10 or so I've smoked.

Are you sure you smoked the Maduro and not their Serie G Cameroon? Not trying to be a dick but it does happen periodically that you may pick up a cigar and smoke it not knowing that it is a maduro or not, some Padrons actually have a pretty dark Natural leaf and you smoke them thinking Maduro.

In my opinion, I think you've hit on one of the best NC cigar wrappers out there - the Cameroon (not maduro, unfortunately).

Give the Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserve a shot - you won't be disappointed, especially if you liked the Oliva Series G...

And if you want to have a maduro that will blow your socks off, try the ISOM Cohiba Secretos or Magicos Maduros 5.

I'm gonna agree wholeheartedly with George on the Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cammie. I was gifted one from a LEO from down south and was blown away. (thanks again!)

Well now im confused. The quote that i gave was from the inside of the lid of a full box that i bought that was still wrapped in plastic, so i don't know how it could be wrong.

However, I did visit the site and you are are correct. They are listed as Connecticut wrappers......they are being a little missleading in my opinion. I have incuded a pic of the box so that you can see for yourselves why I am confused.

That is indeed very confusing. My only guess on that would be that you must have had the Maduro and maybe what was put on the inside of the box was a screw up by the Oliva Company. Either way though you had a great cigar as i enjoy both the Cammie and Maduro of that line. I suggest then, since I think the fault may be in printing error on the packaging, is that you go out and get yourself a Serie G Cameroon and smoke that as well. Be sure to post a review too as I am interested in how it compare to the Maduro in your opinion.
