  1. Default humidifer still usable?

I just got a humidor and I was "breaking it in". When it came to charging the humidfers. I was told to completely submerge them in distilled water. When I looked at a few different websites about the process the directions only called for to just pour the distilled water on top and just wipe off the excess water. Are my humidifers ruined at all?

just let them sit for a while outside the humidor, maybe in front of a fan.. they'll dry out and should be just fine!

Contrary to what bigwhiteash said, I would refrain from lighting up a cougar, it would likely ruin your chances with her.

Your humidifiers will be fine. What I do is hold it so the holes are away from me and flick my wrist until most of the water stops coming out.

I find that a cougar will leave if you don't light her up!
