Smoke Perdomo Habano ~ Gordo (6x60)
Drink(s): Yuengling Boc Beer
Tunes: Beck (Guero, Midnight Vultures, Mellow Gold)

Wrapper: Corojo?
Draw: Medium throughout
Burn: Even with small cone throughout, Runs good by itself, no burn but no problems.
Misc: 90 minute smoke, Nose exhale exhibits medium burn.

Pre-light: Beautiful chocolate brown. Very firm. Sweet prelight taste. Speckly satin finish.



Light: Good. Medium draw.

1st 3rd: Sweet woodsy taste. A bit oily. Lots of flavor hitting on the top of the tongue. A touch of spice, but not peppery. Into it a little, a leathery note starts to come out. The Yuengling is a great compliment to this smoke. Mellows out about 3/4" in, but all flavors remain.



Ash: Bubbly stacked light gray tone with yellowish tint. Held on well for 1 1/2"

2nd 3rd: Oily, woodsy. Very smooth cool burn. Medium to full body smoke. Oily taste dominating over the woodsy flavor now.



Disaster Strikes!!!!: I was peeling the label off, and whammo! Big ole' wrapper split



3rd 3rd: Moving on with my injured smoke. Split and all, same flavors. Maybe a little more edgy now, just runnin' on binder (wasn't that a Jackson Brown tune?)



Overall impression: Excellent smoke despite the wrapper mishap. Thanks to mrtr33 for allowing me to enjoy this one. Score: Low 90's
