    Default New Toy!

Scored this at a yard sale for 10 bucks!

It's an early 70's Yamaha classical guitar. I think with a little TLC, a new set of strings, (yes, I know there are only three on there right now), a bit more polishing up, it'll make a nice little campground guitar. It has a nice warm, loud tone, even with three strings missing... zero fret wear.. and a pretty nice hard-shell case! Just thought I'd share!

    Nice find.

I have been playing classical guitar for some time now. I am not good at all, I just enjoy those over regular dreadnoughts because the strings are further apart, and I primarily play finger-pick style. It hasn't been played much as of late because I bought an acoustic bass a while back, and that just fits my body size a bit better.
