Default Drew Estates Natural ~ Irish Hops

Smoke Drew Estates Natural ~ Irish Hops
    Drink(s): Yuengling Porter
Tunes: Slipknot ~ All Hope Is Gone (over and over and over)

    Wrapper: Maduro
    Draw: Medium throughout
Burn: Even with small cone throughout. Had a dead spot about 2" in...
Misc: 120+ minute of agony. Nose exhale exhibits light burn.

Pre-light: Sweet flavor (like sacharin). Smells like pipe tobacco. Dark brown. Excellent construction (about all it had going for it). Un-cut foot. Sweet sacharin prelight taste (hmmm...yuck)

    Light: Easy. Medium draw.

1st 3rd: Mild nose exhale burn. Sweet flavor kinda tastes like a heavily sweetened coffee / cocoa. No spice. Flat flavor. Has a weird acrid aftertaste (think swisher sweets)

Ash: Stacked white ash. Yellow at tip. Seems pretty firm, and held on for 1 1/2"

2nd 3rd: There's that shitty aftertaste again. There is a distinct flavor of smoking rolled up oak leaves (something I remember from boy scouts) The sweetness has subsided and so has my cherry.... shit! its out. Relight. The scent of surrounding smoke is nice, but the actual flavor has lost almost any appeal it had in the first 1". (Oh God this is going to be a long one)

3rd 3rd: Its official. This thing blows. Same flavor but worse. Acrid, tree leaves, swisher sweet aftertaste.. Bleh. On a positive note, the construction was all this fucker had going for it.

Look! I found a new ash tray in the basement!!!!

Overall impression: If you like infused for the first 1" then this is for you. After that this abortion goes on and on like a twisted energizer bunny for two friggin hours. Score: Lessthan 60's
