Finals Contest

Finals are this week, which means lots of reading, little sleep, and a cigar contest!

Your job is to correctly guess my semester GPA. I will tell you that I have 12 hours worth of classes, and that those 12 hours consist of:
Poli Sci 490 Middle East Politics (3hrs)
PE 104 weight training (1hr)
Crim 431 Community Based Corrections (3hrs)
MSL 202 ROTC (2hrs)
Geol 360 General Astronomy (3hrs)

That is all the info you are getting. You only get one guess, so make it count. This contest ends whenever I get my final grades, which will probably be within the next 2 weeks. This contest is open to anybody who isn't an asshat, so newbs are welcome to participate. You can go out as many decimals as you want, but the university only goes out to hundredths.

I am going to go with 4.0 GPA.

The way I figure, based on your profile, you are a criminology major, so you are probably going to want to do well in CRIM 431. At the very least, the Middle Eastern Politics class must have been a required 400-level course, but you just chose to take that particular one. Even though you've complained about having heavy reading in that class, I still bet you chose to take it. That, in combination with the upper-level Criminology class, would have to be pretty difficult classes, otherwise you'd take more than 12 hours. You also must be close to graduating if you are taking such advanced classes within your degree. The ROTC and weightlifting classes are easy A's. The Astrology class stumps me. I don't know what to think about that one, but if it's an upper-level course, I'm guessing you want to take it. Just my thought process.

Thats the class I think he will not do as well in. I took math for poets in my third year of college and it really was about astrology. There was no calculation of any kind but it was about the history of math though astrology. I loved the teacher. I do wish you much luck!
