    Default Introducing myself

Hi guys! Just decide to introduce myself as other participants did. I’m from Moscow, Russia. I smoked cigars occasionally, and a couple of months ago decided to become a “professional”. My sister was in Cuba on vacation and presented me a box of Cohiba (Siglo 4). Thus, she triggered my thoughts of buying a humidor and all that stuff.
My wife prohibited smoking cigars inside our apartment, so I’m enjoying them on weekends in my country house or in bars.
We are far from cigar manufacturers and may be that’s why local cigar shops have prices at least 2 times higher then in the US. As for Cuban cigars (they are legal in Russia), I think more than 2/3 here are fakes. And Dominicans are presented with just only few brands. I order from internet shops (Famous) and ask my friends who travel to Cuba, Dominican Republic and other “cigar” countries. In two days my friends are going to Philippines and promised me to bring a box of La Flor de la Isabela. I like experiments and tasting new smokes.
Thanks for reading my muddled introduction ))

lol - I spent a little time in Russia in the early '90's. While your language is very different from English, it is fascinating and not extremely difficult. What I found surprising, was that while none of the American ex-pats knew any Russian, every Russian knew some English - often, quite a bit.
