Wow. And only 25 "cigar X review is up over on my site" posts later. craig opened this thread going way beyond the call of duty outlining some principles for you that are usually left for the newb to figure out for him or herself. And you thumb your nose at that and condescendingly start backing toward the door. And after offering a thinly disguised criticism of how this place is run. Sometimes I think "not getting it" is intentional; a manifestation of an ego that just cannot tolerate to be seen as anything less than perfect.

    Where's that kalara ignore line?

Good, I hope you have a good day somewhere else, too.

Kinda reminds me of a guy I once saw at a local sandwich shop. He sets up a small amplifier, and begins to play his guitar. No one paid any attention to him - and it seemed to me the restaurant was unusually empty. I personally thought his music was quite annoying, but gave him props for at least trying. When it was clear that his tip jar was no fuller than when he came in, the guy pulled his amp and went on his way...

I often wondered if the guy realized he was truly not as gifted as he thought he was - or was it that he just kept plugging away in the hopes of picking up a dollar or two from people that felt sorry for him.

Either say - I did not see this guy playing at any kind of credible venue...

Yeah - and I betcha puff.com would eat him up too!!!

...so my other thought about the guitar playing guy was - why did he think that he was talented? Someone, somewhere, somehow must have encouraged him. Like - maybe he played in some of those clubs near downtown Chicago where one can occasionally pick up a whiff of marijuana smoke in the air. Perhaps there was an appreciation with a certain group of individuals, but not the main-stream?

I guess I appreciate good music in various forms, but I do not appreciate all forms of music. Maybe the guy was playing to the wrong audience???

Hi kaelaria. I will be your moderator this evening. I see you are still logging in, after saying you were done, so I know you will be reading this. Please, quit spamming my email with complaints. One is enough.

In case you didn't already realize it, there is not a great deal of overlord meddling here. This is a small forum filled with adults who, as you can see, can take care of themselves. If you do not like it here, please, stick to your guns and be done with this place. Nobody here is going to change for you. To be honest, the report post button is for the regulars around here to notify us of scumbags that need booting, not for noobs to be tattletales about the regulars.

    Have a great night...

    SHAG!

    Great to see ya!

I going to start using the "Report" button more often, if that's what it takes to get you back here.

My old man told me you can always pick out the asshole in the bar as soon as you walk in: loud, obnoxious, one too many Jack and Cokes, tryng to pick a fight with any stranger, barmaid, drinking buddy... And if you think everybody in the place is an asshole looking for a fight, it's time to call it a night, because the asshole is sitting on your barstool.
Funny how these new guys think everyone else here is the asshole looking for a fight.

I am around, just not much time to be involved like I used to be. Coaching soccer and going to school on top of all the usual adult crap takes up most of my time. Finally growing up, at 41, is exhausting.

I like the way this place is run. It keeps the riff-raff to a minimum, and its not like we have enough of that to deal with in our normal everyday offline lives.

That and I love the tags: asshat, Kuba Kuba Lover, and twats. Classic.

There, that'll attract any interested parties who try to google this turd.

Poor Bryan, he's upside down on his house in a huge way, paid $165,000 for it and now it's worth $78,000.

Buy high, sell low, right Bryan?

Oh, Bryan - why don't you use your talents for good. Like do a fundraiser for inner city youth - wounded veterans - mistreated animals. Just Because you want a new motorcycle? And what manufacturer donates product to someone looking to do a fundraiser for a new motorcycle just because the guy wants a new motorcycle? C'mon... Seriously?

And here I thought Purobrat was a mooch...
