Wow, I vastly underestimated the effort to find a similar costing smoke. I have a couple spread sheets going now and should finish this tomorrow.

Plus 154.00 (you included it in calculating the $5.25 average.) One could have also:
a) not dropped the 100.38, making the value $5.11
b) just dropped the 154.00, i.e., dropped the same vendor across all three cigars, and kept the other nine values. It comes to pretty much the same value, $5.20
c) dropped two vendors (which removes the $172.95); JLP 1.50; #4 $4.98; Short unchanged at 3.94
d) kept everything: JLP 1.70; #4 5.29; Short 4.03, a difference of 0.12/0.04/0.09 (1.58/5.25/3.94).
e) etc.
Any of the above works![]()
BTW, IMHO, that Monte is one of the best under-$20 cigars in the pass, as is the Short, as they're both old enough to be smoked now.
