Wow, I vastly underestimated the effort to find a similar costing smoke. I have a couple spread sheets going now and should finish this tomorrow.

Plus 154.00 (you included it in calculating the $5.25 average.) One could have also:
    a) not dropped the 100.38, making the value $5.11
    b) just dropped the 154.00, i.e., dropped the same vendor across all three cigars, and kept the other nine values. It comes to pretty much the same value, $5.20
    c) dropped two vendors (which removes the $172.95); JLP 1.50; #4 $4.98; Short unchanged at 3.94
    d) kept everything: JLP 1.70; #4 5.29; Short 4.03, a difference of 0.12/0.04/0.09 (1.58/5.25/3.94).
    e) etc.

    Any of the above works

BTW, IMHO, that Monte is one of the best under-$20 cigars in the pass, as is the Short, as they're both old enough to be smoked now.

I have an objection. Factoreds post of proposed puts is extremely short, containing only 39 words excluding the pricing.

    Unacceptable for word count alone.

I haven't tried the question mark brand of cigars, either.

Maybe I can setup a box split......

Will, I told you there was a ???? smoke for you to review.

I got half my puts figured out over lunch. 3 to go and I'll fill in all the blanks.

So how does this work with the Herf -- does the pass just get passed on, or are Will and Irish doing their P/Ts and then sending it on to DG?

Basically, its just a great excuse for all us to meet up. If Nate gets his stuff approved, I'll just bring the box home with me, cause I can't do my math & stuff down there, nor will I have megador at my side.

Odds are I will just be passing the pass to Will, unless we both get our P/T approved by friday evening.

    Will beat me to it.

    Your assumptions are correct:
    • La Cuna is a Robusto
    • La Gloria Cubana is a Minutos
    • I found a math error on my Samba as I got some crazy prize for it the first time.
    • Serie G Special G is Cameroon yes.
    • Yes, the 219.70 should be there as well for the Partagas.

    Proposed change:
    T#23 Montecristo #4 Jun 06 4.98
    P#62 Cuesta Rey Pyramid #9 5.14 (44.40, 44.95, 45.95, 51.99, 52.95, 52.95, 52.95, 56.95, 59.99)

Although it was probably more PEBCAK (problem emitting between keyboard and chair) than anything.

I'll do the paperwork and have the pass ready to hand off to Will this afternoon.

Squares: A3 and E3 (I marked FR in my squares as there was already one Nate on the sheet)

Thanks for letting me participate in this craig (and everyone else). It has been a great learning experience so far!

    Default Herf

The herf was an incredible success!

Ribs, beer, cigars, and great company.

    Attendance:
    badwhale
    irish79 + wife
    funkycold5
    myself + girlfriend

A total of 19 sticks were burned by the 4 of us.

The pass is now in badwhale's posession.

    Default Badwhale Logistics

Nate decided to 1-day express deliver the pass to my house, via Badwhale Logistics. It made it to Bitterville in 2h-50min and was delivered safely.

I wouldn't recommend this shipping method, as it is a great expense. Bbasically the driver comes over to your house the night before, eats all your food, drinks all your beer and stinks up your whole backyard with cigar smoke.

It’s a very dependable service thought.

Anyway, I have the pass, like Nate said. I had a GREAT time at the herf, and I'll be posting some P/T hopefully before the weekend is over.

Thanks again Nate! And it was awesome meeting everyone else & their significant others!
