Was in Memphis, TN this past weekend. Good times. Highly recommend Texas de Brazil. I think I ate meat for 2 solid hours, much to my wife's astonishing amazement.

Had a "house blend" at one of the many cigar shops in the downtown area. Probably knew better, but I didn't bring any with me.

It wasn't bad. It had burn issues, but tasted great.

So here's my question: almost immediately, there was a little part of the wrapper that began to flake off. I licked it, hoping the sugars of the wrapper would bind with the moisture to stay intact. It did. But this left me curious: what causes an unraveling like that in the first place? A cheaply made cigar?
