Default Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve ~ Toro

    No Other's Reviews found

Smoke: Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve ~ Toro (I changed that from Belicoso)
    Drink(s): Yuengling Chesterfield Ale
Tunes: Drive by Truckers ~ Decoration Day; GnR ~ Chinese Democracy

    Wrapper: Nicraguan
    Draw: Meduim thoughout
Burn: Decent, even with small cone throughout.
Misc: 90+ minutes Nose exhale exhibits medium burn.

Pre-light: Light brown shade wrapper. Sweet tobacco smell; Mild prelight taste.

Light: Medium draw. Good light. Dusty tip on the light; a little burny

1st 3rd: Woodsy. Sweet hint on aftertaste. Medium nose exhale burn. Leather. Medium body. Medium to full flavor. Oily kicking in now...

Ash: White / light gray with yellow tint following close behind. Doesn't look too strong. Let's see.... 7/8"

2nd 3rd: Woodsy less dominant. Sweet, slightly grassy flavor is taking over. Still oily, & leather, but leather going the way of woodsy. Mmmmmmm. Medium draw still. Takes some work to keep the smoke volume up.

3rd 3rd: Pretty much like the 2nd. Very cool burn. Very nice. (This is one from my newbie sampler )

Overall impression: See review above. Me likes! Score: 90s

Loved the one I had. Matter of fact I bought a couple for my humidor. Good review.

I got a box of these. Definitely more of a medium than full smoke. I let them age for 3-4 months and they're even better with some age on them.

Another solid review, Will. Great photos, as always. Your note reminded me of a small stash of RJ Habanas I put away a while back. For some reason my belicosos are pointy on one end... In any case, you inspired me to fire one up! Great smoke. Nice work on the review.

You sure you don't have the toros? I could be wrong too, but I know it was 6" +/- and that ring gauge.

Oh, and thanks for the support guys. I enjoy doing the reviews.
