Default 3M Window Film on glass top humidor

    Hey Guys,

I've got a glass top humidor en-route, and wanted to know if anyone here has tried applying window film on the inside glass portions of their humidor?

I like the idea of seeing my cigars through the glass lid, and plan to have it on my desk at work, but I also want to make sure the UV rays or the heat generating long-wavelengths stay clear of my smokes.

Here is what I'm looking at:

You can buy small sheets of this from the local hardware store. Has anyone tried this out yet? Or is this simply not necessary?

    Thanks,

    Frank

You might try stopping in at a car window tint shop. They usually have some very light shades. Most use 3M and might have some sizeable scraps they would donate.
