Default Wine Joke, Wal-Mart's World of Wines

    Wal-Mart's World'o'Wines

BENTONVILLE, ARK (AP) -- Some Wal-Mart customers soon will be able to sample a new discount item: Wal-Mart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with E & J Gallo Winery of Modesto, California, to produce the spirits at an affordable price, in the $2-5 range. While wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to throw a bottle of Wal-Mart brand wine into their shopping carts, there is a market for cheap wine, said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. She said: "The right name is important."

So, here we go: the top 12 suggested names for Wal-Mart Wine.

    1. Chateau Traileur Parc
    2. White Trashfindel
    3. Big Red GulpGrape Expectations
    4. Domaine Wal-Mart "Merde du Pays"
    5. NASCARbernet
    6. Chef Boyardeaux
    7. Peanut Noir
    8. Chateau des Moines
    9. I Can't Believe It's Not Vinegar!
    10. World Championship Riesling
    11. Nasti Spumante

The beauty of Wal-Mart wine is that it can be served with white (possum) and red meat (squirrel).

The Walmart near my house carries a pretty decent selection of wines. I don't drink anymore, but when I did I drank wine, and Wallyworlds selection was comparable to my local grocery store, which is decent.

it used to be that way in my former-hometown. no liquor sales (city was set up by a church). the law was just recently changed because an Applebee's was built in half of the old city limits and half in the new. so know liquor sale is just prohibitted in the old city limits.

back to the main topic, i enjoy wine, although my wife doesn't. i might have to see what they have to offer.
