Just finished smoking this little gem.
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Filler: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Size: 6X50
Prelight: Smooth draw, nice taste
Light: Even and easy
First Third: Draw was sweet and smooth. Produced lots of smoke. Burn was even all around. Creamy with hints of leather. Medium bodied.
Second Third: Draw remained constant. Creaminess developed nicely. Still medium body.
Last Third. Got a little hotter and harsher toward the end of the smoke, but nothing beyond what I normally experience at this stage.
Overall Impression: Nice early afternoon smoke. Medium body with pleasant flavors. Not very complex, but I wasn't looking for that at this time of day. Was looking for a nice pleasant smoke and it definitely didn't disappoint. If you are looking for a large flavor and full body to have a deep, personal relationship, with lots of complexity, this isn't it. They are advertised as B an C grades of leaf. That, however, didn't seem to matter because this was fine smoke. I will buying more of these. Got it at my local B&M (thanks Cigar Andy!).![]()
