    Cool From Niagara Falls

Hey guys, I am from Niagara Falls, Ontario.

I am 37 years old and some of my absolute favorite cigars have been...
    Perdomo Lot 23,
Java and Tabak from Drew Estates
    Corojo,
    Frey Boyz house from Vegas,
    Oliva Serie O
Romeo y Julieta Limited Editions 2005 and 2007 and
    Paratagas No 4 and 5's

I do enjoy a dark, full bodied Cigar. I started on Cubans and have added some of the other brands noted above.

Here, in the falls, they mostly specialize in real Cubans, but lately, I have been in the search of some more Drew Estates Java or Tabak.

Some of my recent discoveries :
A vanilla candle lit whill enjoy a cigar seems to amplify the taste. (Works with the Cubans)
A glass of Jager on the rocks and a cigar. They seem to completment themselves. (Works well with the Perdomos)

Anyways, I just bought my first humidor and my friends and I have a get together every Monday where we just lightup on the back porch!

So I thought I would introduce myself... my name is Chris!

PS I have been looking to buy. I f you are from Ontario and know of some good cigars that can be delivered, please let me know! Thanks and glad to be here!

What's up, Chris? Welcome from northwest Louisiana.

I've caught a lot of fish in Ontario - at my uncle's camp just outside of Sydenham, if you know where that is. His camp is on Otter Lake, but there's tons more around there, too.

Anyway, I don't know much about candles or Jager, but to each their own! It sounds like you are just looking to try out some cigars, which is way cool. You should check out the Newbie Sampler Thread in the Exchange section of the forum. There, an experienced BOTL will hook you up with some really nice smokes. I do believe there's one in your province. Check it out.

    Welcome again.

    Welcome!

I haven't been to Niagra Falls in many years. I loved it up there.

    Welcome from Ottawa.

As for non-Cuban cigars, given that you live in Niagara Falls, then you can just drive across the border ...

BTW, I'd consider keeping the flavoured cigars stored separately from the others.

Are there some cigars I just have to try?
I was looking to expand my horizons and start looking at 5 vegas (not sure what to try), Padron (6000 maybe, any thoughts), and Ashtons. Does anyone have any preference for these or others I should try? I lioke a medium all the way to a full bodied cigar. I enjoy Madura wrapped cigars and lately, I have been hovering around the Robusto 5X52 size. I want to put an order in soon and I might as well add some "experimental" cigars! I just had a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 and loved it!

Have you had a chance to look around - read what others have written about their experiences with different cigars? There's a wealth of information here, if you just slow down and take the time to smell the flowers.

And remember - all things will come in due time, grasshopper.

thank you for those words of... um... well anyways.
Just asking for peoples opinion. It appears everyone has commented on just about every cigar, which then means that I would need to spend nearly a month going through everything. I have a read alot all ready , but nothing stands out.
I was only asking for some advice to help narrow down the choices. That was all.
