    Default Regal Lighters

Thought that i would review this lighter in case anyone was inquiring about buying one, or one in a similar price range.
    First Appearance

Not to shabby, the box has a nice "scale" effect to it, and has that "classy" look to it.

    The Opening

Now this is fairly easy on the eyes. It has a satin interior, and laying diagonal in the box is the lighter itself.

Here is a picture of the lighter propped inside the box

    The lighter Itself

Pretty sharp lookin if you ask me. A gold finish with rubber grip edges, and their logo printed on the front. The rubber on the sides has a ridged texture, and has a medium feel to it. It not hard as a rock, but its not squishy either. I think the black accents the gold rather nicely. On the bottom is the flame control, and also the refill site (for butane).

It is a single flame torch lighter, and as you can see the lighting mechanism is to simple pull back the slot, and it ignites itself. The only problem i found was that the flame fluctuates to much. Such as i have to re-adjust it almost every time. Because it is either to much, or not enough to get that perfect cone if you will. As for toasting the foot of the cigar - it is rather nice - because of the rubber, you can keep the lighter lit for quite awhile with out feeling the heat; it also does a fairly nice job of it as well.

I really enjoy this lighter, and it has not given me any problems yet. There is a year warranty on it from the company; which is also a nicety. This lighter was fairly inexpensive, i believe it cost me 12 dollars at my local head shop. And as you can see, it is fairly nice for the price you pay. So all in all, i would have to rate the lighter a solid 8.5. Simply because it has that modern high class look, but doesn't cost what a modern high class lighter would cost you. I docked it because of the flame issue. Now keep in mind that this might only be my lighter that does this, but i think that it's to much of a factor to ignore (the reason why you buy a lighter is to light stuff with).
So in conclusion if you are strapped for cash - such as i was - and are looking for a fairly good lighter; than look no further, because Regal is your man.
