    Thumbs up My New Ashtray

Well, it is finished! 13 pieces of glass, a little bit of time and voila... new ash tray. Looking forward to trying this one out. Look for a review soon.

Roger, looks great! You introduce your new ashtray to ash via the Cuesta Rey in the pic?

Cuesta rey is the one I want to review. Glad that everyone likes what they see . I'm also planning to make 2-3 glass cigar stands to go with the ashtray so that I can share it with those who come over for a herf.

I like the raised holder concept. With a normal low one the cigar can touch the discarded nubs and ashes. Not a problem with yours. Nice work.

I have not seen anything quite like that. Very interesting work. Great colors, too.

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. In case you were wondering on the solder used... everything is 60 / 40 tin & lead. But the top where you place the gar and the upper rim are in lead free solder. FYI.

Very nice work. I'd break it in a matter of seconds, but it looks really nice. I'm sure not everyone is as clumsy as I am.

It looks great! Very unique and original. I really like the raised cigar concept too. Genius.
