Default Diamond Crown ~ #7 Pyramid Natural

Other's reviews (None found, searching the Reviews Forum)

Smoke: Diamond Crown ~ #7 Pyramid Natural
    Drink(s): Yuengling Porter
Tunes: None, just some good convo with a BOTL

    Wrapper: Connecticut Fermented
    Binder: Dominican
    Filler: Dominican
    Draw: Light to Medium
    Burn: Excellent
    Misc: 90 minutes

Pre-light: Nice Connecticut shade wrapper. Very nice construction. Light sweet tobacco aroma. Not too much prelight flavor.

Light: Easy. Light to medium draw.

1st 3rd: Light body, medium flavor. Leathery, and not too much spiciness. Kinda sweet. Slightly woodsy mixed in. Nice and mellow. One dimension sofar.

Ash: Crisp grey. Nicely layered. Looks strong. Holds on for 1 ˝”

2nd 3rd: Same flavor profile. Leather dominant. Still a light body and medium flavor. Light nose exhale burn.

3rd 3rd: Mostly the same, but towards the end 1 ˝” it got plugged. (strangely, the same thing happened to Dan who was having one too). After that, it was just burny & harsh.

Overall impression: Would be a good (and long) coffee / morning cigar. However for retail of $18, it wouldn’t be my first choice. Nevertheless, thank you Irish79 for allowing me the opportunity to try this one!

Nice review Will. Bummer that we both experienced a plug, but at least both sticks were consistent, right? lol

    Nice review, Will, as always.

I have had a few DC's in the past, and while I haven't experienced a plug, the rest of the smoking experience was similar: well constructed, burned well, but IMO, a one-dimensional smoke.

Now, the DC Maximus on the other hand, is a complete different story.

    Thanks again.
