Im not much of a pipe smoker. Always thought about getting into it. What would be a decent quality \"starter\" tobacco? Ive been smoking cigars for a long time so I have a broad range of flavors that I enjoy. Im not a picky smoker. Thank you for your suggestions.

Welcome from Ottawa, Canada, where it is too cold for bikini's, but perfect for tight sweaters.

I'm not the guy to ask, rather new at it myself. There are a few people on this board with tons of knowledge on pipe tobacco. Sunday is a slow day on this forum. There will be much more activity during the week.

What kind of cigars do you really enjoy? I love Padron, Rocky, Arturo Fuente. I am always on the look for new cigars. I like to find info about upcoming brands and new blends for my stores.

I made an all grain smoked cherry porter. It was freaking Amazing. I did a cigar stand at a beerfest and figured smokes and smoked beer. How about you?

Yes. I love to find out about new cigars. I was actually looking to find an all american blend. I see everyone doing Honduran or Cuban seed. Does anyone know of a company that uses only American tobacco?

Yes. I think if you search on here you might find some threads about American made cigars.

Honestly, I would think, as a cigar shop proprietor you would be bringing information on new smokes, hot brands, etc...to us, instead of the other way around, but what do I know. What lines do you carry in your stores?

With the weather cooling off, that sounds like a good choice. My most recent batch was a pumpkin ale...it turned out "ok". I may try again in the next few weeks, this time splitting the batch to experiment with different spices in secondary. Going to make sure to pick a good smoke for the brew day too.
