    Default Labor Day

So, what does everyone have planned for the holiday?

For me, not a single thing. I'll probably just laze around and smoke and drink. Have a few things to read to prepare for work on Tuesday, but other than that, there are no "have-to's" on my schedule.

Tonight Beth & I are going to JR's varsity football game. It will be the first game that he has started, so he's excited. Tomorrow we are attending a friend's wedding, which sort of sucks since it cuts our weekend in half. After the wedding we're going to the riverhouse with Beth's family. That will be very relaxing and I'm very much looking forward to that.

I have to make as much headway as I can on the blessed window frames I have ripped out for restoration. Only 8 to go!

There is 1 picnic to go to on Sunday, which should be a good time with lots of food and beer.

The little man of the house turns 5 Monday so we're having a blowout on Saturday for his birthday. Lots of family, friends, bbq, cigars, and booze. Looking forward to it.

    Well let's see:

    1. Tonight: hopefully get my new exhaust mounted on my motorcycle.

    2. Saturday - immediate family picnic that suddenly grew to "hey let's get everyone else to go"

    3. Sunday night: overnight camping/fishing trip with my Dad. should be a welcome relief of the accumulated stress from Saturday.

    4. Finally Monday/Tuesday: Nothing to do!

I got a whole lot of nothing planned for myself. Probably watch movies most of the day on my brand new flatscreen hd tv. And if all works out good at least 1 or 2 cigars.
Just another day at the office!

Tonight we go to this cousin house its the Friday ritual.

Saturday I hide from people and clean the house. I will be in stealth mode hoping no one invites me to anything.

Sunday he works one of the flea markets selling his fleas. I am forced to help him at best part of the day...mainly because of guilt. He told me tonight he is not going to the flea market he says no one will be there on a holiday.

Monday ......maybe working on business stuff not sure. But I will be here after 11 every night but Monday!

We just had a B-day too. My oldest turned 16 on Wednesday, so some jamming is in order with all his new musical toys. My drumming has gotten a bit rusty since I started this new job. Concert tomorrow night along with an anti-LDS/Mormon event downtown. Sunday and Monday, anything but labor. BBQ, football, and cigars baby!!!

Today I went shooting with my roommate and my friend. Just some target practice.

Tomorrow we're BBQ'ing and watching the first PSU football game of the season.

Sunday I am going to my sister's for a cookout.

Monday will be my day of relaxation.

Had planned to go quadding up at the Cinders but the vacation was cancelled by my boss. Instead, by Labor day I will be working my 9th 12-hour shift in a row. I do plan to make up for it at Beer Camp the following weekend.

Well, I'm in Iraq and working all weekend except Sunday. But I did get a chance to enjoy a Siglo VI and a 5 Vegas Relic, so its really not that bad.

Visited Mom and step-Dad. Re-configured their TV so that closed-captioning works again, fixed computer so their e-mail works again, charged the batteries in the camera so it works again, changed ink in photo printer so it works again, re ...

Came back last night, mowed the lawn this morning.

Now to tear all the humidors apart looking for beetles - there was a hole in a cigar I had last week .
