    Default Savinelli 1876 Nicaragua Reserve

Cigar: Savinelli 1876 Nicaragua reserve. Maduro. Box press Robusto size.
    Tunes: None
    Drink: None
Pre-light taste: None but what a wonderful sweet scent!
    Draw: Medium.
Light up: A little difficult but not bad.
    Burn: Fairly even at first.
Time Start: 5:15 pm. Time End: 6:50
    Smoke time: 95 min.

    First Third
At first impression it's kind of spicy but mellowed quickly after light. Rich tobacco flavor, no retrohale burn. Some coffee type notes coming through. Went out 2 times in this third. I used an allen wrench to ream it through a plug.

Ash: Grey brown color and did not hold on very good because of the troubles with the plug.

    Second Third:
More mellow now, but spiciness remains. Still some coffee flavors coming through. Rich nutty tobacco flavor too. Generous amounts of smoke with this one. Burning a little uneven now. Went out again- have been cutting stained glass so I think I let it go for too long.

    Third third:
Exhibiting a little more spiciness again on the tongue. Good flavor. Same as before. I consider this a medium - full smoke.

Rating from 1-100. I give it a 70 mostly due to the troubles with the cigar, but it was a quality tasting cigar in my book. Roger.

    Great review Roger.

Great second photo, Roger! The splayed ash and allen wrench on the background table make a great image. I also think you may have the best ashtray on the board. Nice review.

Nice review, Roger. Too bad about the plugged issue. I really like these cigars...
