Default How often do you change water in humidifiers?

    Hello everyone!
How often do you change the water or liquid in humidifiers? I am doing so about every month or two, but whenever I open Humidor, humidity is only around 60 percent. Even in Humidor for 50 cigars I have two humidifiers and even then it is not enough ... Should I change the water frequently? I use two parts water and one part liquid to humidifier called Madelaine.
    Thanks for the reply

I add water when the Gel / Beads get low every 3 to 5 weeks.

Did you calibrate you Gage ? is the humidor sitting under a heat vent?

If your not using beads its a good idea to invest in them.

    Maybe add another humidifier?

In other words, add another humidification device. It might over-humidify your smokes, but it will definitely do the trick.

Buy some beads, it will save you some time. You can buy them in specific humidity levels, and Heartfelt has a pretty good gauge for determining how many you need.

if the temp is cooler you will need more beads. I live in NE and often have the same problem. lower the temp, the lower RH you will have.
