Thread: Cigars for the troops

  1. Default Cigars for the troops

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR CIGARS

This is an opinion ,most of us know somebody directly or indirectly overseas serving in the military. A lot of us send cigars and other neat shit also. It has been brought to my attention that newbies are being solicited for donations from someone here and having them ship cigars to his home addy. This is NOT how it is done at all, that wreaks of scumbaggery and will not be tolerated by the membership and ME

DO NOT SEND CIGARS FOR THE TROOPS TO SOMEONE'S HOME ADDY YOU DO NOT KNOW.

If you think you have been fucked over by someone here speak up

Exactly. We have from time to time sent big groups packages overseas for the troops however when this is done it is routinely done in the open in the trades thread. Everyone can see and everyone can participate. If someone is sending you pm messages requesting you take part in a pass or trade that is not also a post thread in the trades section be very wary of it. If you have any questions or concerns regarding trading or doing a pass with someone here feel free to pm a senior member who has been here for some time and they will be more than happy to offer you advice.

I have yet to see a "cigar for the troops" donation here on my base, although the previous chaplain that was stationed here left a coolidor almost full of cigars prior to him leaving so I think we're set for a while.

so really, can we get someone to start a cigars for troops again? I would donate. The only reason I am asking for someone to start this is because I am still new here, and I think there would be a better reply from a FOG.
just a suggestion, not telling anyone what to do.

Well I could have worded that a little better since I am asking for donations for the troops . I meant someone here was PM ing newbies to send cigars to them . I was meaning the secret solicitation wreaked of scumbag
