Welcome. Probably any of those will be an upgrade from the Macs - I second Ashauler's suggestion; these are one of my favorites. Or the Oliva or the Fuente.

You have somthing in common. My first real experience with a decenct cigar was for my wedding. I bought a box of Sol Cubano Connecticuts and after that i was hooked. I wish you the best of luck with your attempt to keep it to just special occations. However..... if for some reason that you do decide to increase your stash then search the forum about how to build a coolerdor. I think you will really like most of the cigars in your sampler. Enjoy!
If you're serious about the Padron, let it sit in a humidor for a few months. There are hints of orange peel that will come out while you smoke it but I've found this only happens if its sat for a while.
I've had the 80th Maduro and the 1964 Maduro, and both had this trait.
