Default Oliva Master Blends III ~ Robusto

Other's reviews (None found, searching the Reviews Forum)

Smoke: Oliva Master Blends III ~ Robusto
    Drink(s): Knob’s Creek ~ Neat
Tunes: A Perfect Circle ~ Mer de Noms; 13th Step

    Wrapper: Nicaraguan (broadleaf sun grown)
    Binder: Nicaraguan
    Filler: Nicaraguan
    Draw: Medium, to medium light
    Burn: Perfect
    Misc: 60 minutes

Pre-light: Quasi box pressed. Dark brown with dark mottled marks on wrapper. Dense. Has a slightly musty sweet tobacco scent . Not much prelight flavor.

Light: I took my time with this one, barely toasting the foot with the flame far away. Medium draw.

1st 3rd: Full body, full flavor. Wow. Oil, coffee, leather, & sweet tobacco. All very smooth & well balanced. Damn…

Ash: A crisp white, with yellowing out at the end. Holds on for 1 ˝”

2nd 3rd: The bourbon kind of bullies its way onto my palate, but after a couple puffs, the cigar gets its way back in. Coffee, oil & leather dominant. Nice smooth medium nose exhale. Beautiful & rich flavors.

3rd 3rd: Rich, smooth & satisfying (now I sound like a Camel advertisement LOL.) Very very good. Same flavors as above, and now the draw has opened up a bit to a medium-medium light draw. Home stretch!

Overall impression: Awesome cigar. Oliva delivers again, in a big way.

Thanks bigwhiteash for the chance to have one of these!

Great cigar, great music...Oliva and Maynard together--who woulda thunk it?

Everyone should dispose of any of these they have... I will offer my services as dumping grounds for any and all MB-III cigars.

    Nice review Brother!

    LMAO!!

I was lucky enough to try this one from a trade, and wow it was good (again, thank you sir). Let me know when the dump truck shows up to drop off the load of these, I'll pick a few out for "experimental purposes" only.

    Nice review indeed.

Good review. That first wave of flavor is really surprising. MB3 is a top shelf product from start to finish.

    Will,

Great review! MBIIIs are one of my fav cigars.......that's why I bought 4-5 boxes when they came out.

I have just under a box left. I may smoke one today when I go to a local B&M herf.

Nice review as usual. I'll have to acquire a few of these, as Oliva has yet to disappoint me.
I have made it a rule never to smoke more that one cigar at a time.

Wow really great review! So well structured and with great pictures. You sold me on it and I'm pretty sure I saw this Cigar at my local shop last I was there. Argh, I hope they still have a few.
