Default Pics of your Man Cave

I didn't see any recent post like this and since it's a currently popular topic I figured I post this.

This fire pit is over 100 years old and crumbling bad. I keep adding cement to it to keep it upright. The patio bricks I added last spring from left over bricks when I build my patio. Next spring I'm going to add a real patio chair. But, with a nice smoke, a Dogfish Head a big fire, and a baseball game ( no more baseball) I just kick my feet up on the bricks and enjoy. This is my most relaxing place in the world.

I started a new work from home job in August. So here is my Man Cave. I spend at least 10 hours a day sitting in this room hosting conference calls, smoking cigars, plucking on the cigar box guitar and watching the news/ESPN. Quite comfy and it is nice to have an office with a window for a change:

James, next time you post porn you need to give a little heads up.

    Awesome room man.

Very nice! Can I come work for you? My basic skills are standing/sitting and watching TV. But I do all that very well.

I'd like to work from home or at least call in sick once and a while.

First of all, James, that' not a mancave, that's man heaven.

Ok, here's my stab at it:

This is the general bench / work / smoking area. Yeah yeah, I know, there's my wussy 1970s style chainsaw there....

Turning around, you can see an old "outside" wall in the basement.

Turn around a little more, and you'll see my beer fridge tap, and some motorcycles in the background (good thing they usually kickstart in a couple trys, or I'd be too whimpy to ride them)

Here's a pic of the back room with the coal stove that keeps my box warm during the winter months.

This pic is from the basement door and just a different perspective of the bench/ smoking area. The fan is at the far end of the picture, at the end of the bench, stuffed loosely into a cellar window.

Installed a vent fan yesterday. Here's the progress pix:

    First, the gear:

    Next, the target:

A couple of hours later with a sawzall & some spade bits you have this:

Now, I can just switch on this noisy ass fan, without the struggle of stuffing a vent fan in the window.

Nice work, Will. I hope that fan doesn't cause too much of a draft; I'd hate for your basement smoking pussy to catch a chill.

    Here is my setup:

My living room with TV and stereo. I have a 47" Vizio with an A/V receiver running my surround sound, DVD player, VCR, Wii, and Sirius radio. I took the time to route all of my speaker cables under the carpet and it looks great.

My smoking spot on my back porch. As you can see it is positioned perfectly so I can see the TV through the window. I also have the back porch wired for sound from my stereo inside so I can hear the TV and radio as well.

My totally sick 1960's A&M College of Texas ash tray.

Part of the room where I get to keep all of the crap the wife doesn't want anywhere else in the house which includes my comics and obsolete video game machines.

Bookshelf and my Imac I use to play old Mac OS9 adventure games. Whatever happened to adventure games, anyway? The piece of rock on the window sill is a piece of rubble from the Pentagon given to me by a friend when I visited the building in 2005.

    The stash.

    Garfield clock. 'Nuff said.

    End of line.

Nice work guys. Except you James, I hate you. You can however bring yourself back into my good graces by building me one.
