Smoke: Oliva “O” Bold (red cloth band) ~ Torpedo
Drink: Porter & Chesterfield
Tunes: None
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Draw: Medium
Burn: ran fine with slight wrapper maintenance
Misc: 60-75 minutes
Pre-light: Embroidered cloth band. Medium dark brown chocolate color wrapper. Torpedo construction. Has a rich tobacco scent and a sweet, spicy leather prelight taste.
Light: Here goes! Pretty easy light, and a light-medium draw.
1st 3rd: Rich, sweet leather. Has some coffee notes to it. Oily. Medium-full body, full flavor, but incredibly smooth. I want to say it is leaving like a flavor coating in my mouth. Very oily aftertaste. Nice.
Ash: Medium gray and stacked nice. Holds on for 1 ˝”
2nd 3rd: Flavors developing. Has a nice musty / musky flavor now mixed with the above profile. Leather & oil less pronounced now, but still a nice oil aftertaste. Can’t stress the “smoothness” enough. Coffee & maybe a cashew like nutty flavor.
3rd 3rd: Nose exhale is light & smooth. Lots of complex flavors now. Getting kind of “gummy” on the palate. Almost chewy. Very very nice smoke.
Overall impression: See above. Out of production smoke….too bad.
