Great pic Chris, thanks for the memories......

By the way, has anybody heard from Tommy (standing to the right of Bill) lately, I'm trying to reach him.

What is the best airport to fly into? I have to be in Tulsa sometime on the 28th but would love to make a detour.

Probably La Guardia. I'm pretty sure you can take subways to the train station and take a train right up to New Windsor. Some of the NYC guys travel by train. I think the train ride is less than an hour.

If at all possible, you can fly into Newburgh - Stewart International (SWF) which is right down the road from the event and the Days Inn where a large number of S/BOTL are statying. I talked with the manger of the Days Inn Newburgh West Point/Stewart Intl Airport and she gave us a group rate price of $73.53 per room which includes all taxes and gratuities. When booking your room, call 845-564-7550 ext 387 and let the receptionist know that you are part of group "Cigar Pass". The traveling distance from the hotel to the Herf location is no more that 4 miles. Here is there website if interested:

It would be nice if you can attend and keep us updated if you can make it........

Thanks for the advice. Looks like all of the flights going to SWF are 10+ hours connecting through multiple cities. La Guardia has some decent flights but how hard is it going to be to navigate the subway and train? Keep in mind where I live we barely have a bus service.

Tommy pops in here every so often. It's been a few months. I wish I had his # or something. Missed him last year.

For all you S/BOTL that are attending this year's event, please send off your payments off to me so I have them by 15th so I can lock down the final numbers and furnish that to the owners of the Meadowbrook......

Well that was fun while it lasted. My trip to Tulsa has been canceled and replaced with a trip to Abu Dhabi in April. I tried to take the time off to make it but that was a no go. Apparently I am only one of 2 people in North America that can do a particular type of work we have happening from the middle of February to sometime in March.

    Next year...I promise

Well S/BOTL, our goal this year was 180 guests and we are there counting our VIPs from West Point and the guests of the owner of Meadowbrook as well. Anyone signing up for the Herf from now on will be placed on a Stand-by list. Everyone that has signed up so far, please verify that you have the correct number of guests as well. That's it for now for I'll talk with you all soon.......

Unless he dropped the ball, Dan (Irish79) is riding out with me. I'm getting pretty excited myself.
