I agree that this technology would remove us from our desks and get us more interactive with the physical world.
The flat interface (coffee cup = coffee house) and the picture taking, was mind-blowing!

I think the most exciting part of this is that it's all going to be open source. tens of thousands of people working with this technology should make it advance fairly rapidly.
