    Default Good Inexpensive Smokes

    Hello BOTL,

    I was thinking(insert snide remark here) about inexpensive good smokes this morning as I was smoking this 3x3 Corona (excellent smoke for the price IMHO).

    I would really like it if everyone (especially the FOGS) would chime in here with their opinion on some good inexpensive smokes. I know a lot of newbies, including myself, would like to see more experienced smokers take on their personal favorite(s). It would save the torture of buying inexpensive smokes just to find out it was a waste of time and money.

    Help us newbies out FOGS(and otherwise). It's always nice to know which inexpensive smokes are the best. Tastes do vary but you get my drift.

    =====
    I will start this out by mentioning this one:

    3x3

    These cheap smokes are really good IMHO. I stumbled across these by accident at a local B&M here over a year ago and I think they are great for the price. I grabbed one out of the "cheapo" section of the store along with a couple of others and this one has always stood out in my mind as a great "bang for the buck" smoke. My fiance' picked me one up today and I had forgotten just how good these were. It makes me want to try the 4x4. These typically come in a silver metal tube. They are made from seconds by Davidoff of Geneva, Inc.
    =====

    TIA for the information FOGS

    Let's set a price cap: Only list smokes under $5.00 please.

    PS: If a cigar is total crap then it does not belong here. Crap is crap no matter what the price.

    How cheap are we talking? Is there a max value set? Under $5, or .....?

    These are great smokes and I had my first one curtesy of Jaime a while back ago. I am going to get a box of these very soon and its a great way to support the board. I highly recommend these IMHO.

    I believe some FOGs would tell you to use search.

    Plus, saying $5 and under is a pretty broad range of stuff. If you change that statement to $2 and under, I think you're going to get a lot of disparity on dog rocket / cheap treasure.

    I just thought it would be a good idea to have it under one thread. Don't mind me I am half asleep.

    And this thread compilation project has been done before as well......and still, yearly threads are started for cheap smokes.

    I know a shitload of acronyms myself.

    Better yet, do the search, consolidate what you find ... or just cut-and-paste all of K7's buy-me-these posts together :rofl:

    In any case, the really awesome cheap smoke deals are short-term, like the original Famous Nic 3000 (that were supposedly Oliva's) or the batch of Holt's Little Havana overruns that were really Tatuajes.

    I received a Cu-Avana Toro, compliments of Jamie. I really enjoyed it.

    That sounds good. I will search around and compile the list sometime and post it.

    If you're into maduros ........

    Sancho Panza Double Maduro, box of 20 for $59 at CI .... puts it right about $2.75 a stick.
