    Default Padilla Fumas

CI has these on special...awfully cheap...but I can't find a review on them. Has anybody tried them. If they're not a dog rocket I'm thinking about getting a couple of bundles.

    Your opinions please!

EDIT: On two bundles of 20 sticks ea., the shipping stays the same so I can get them for average of .88 ea. Don't care how cheap they are if they're crap.

Funny, I just spent 15 minutes looking for reviews myself! Great price, but if they are absolute junk.. then it doesn't matter if they are free =)

They are really mild with no real taste to them.

I would not call them dog rockets, but they just don't cut it if your a med/full strength cigar fan.

The rings just say Fumas but I blew up the pic of them and the bundle emblem says "Selecion del Senor Barato". Loosely translates "selection for Mr. Thrifty" Hmmm...says made with the same fillers as the premiums and in the same factory as the series 68's.

They are really mild with no real taste to them.
Thanks Mangy...you just saved me some money

I could not recommend them to anyone i know unless they were looking for a really mild yard cigar.

They would make a good giveaway cigar for the people you run in to that express a interest in cigars but you know if you hand them a $5 cigar they will take 2 to 3 puffs and toss it.

Smoked one more last night at work just for the hell of it.

After sitting for a week or 2 they do get a little better.
They actually developed a little taste, but not something to brag about.

I picked up a robusto bundle of these and was actually pleased. I left them in my humidor for almost a month before I had one. Not bad, spice to start and then it has an oak like taste that gets milder as it goes along. For the price, I am happy with them. I also got the Players Club by Don Diego bundle and figure the Fumas would be a good cigar to offer others so I don't have to give out my Don Diego's.
